Journeyman Welder

We are seeking a Journeyman Welder to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for welding and fabrication projects in our manufacturing facility. You will be operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, flux-core arc, and shielded metal arc processes. Additional responsibilities include conducting repairs, modifications, and retrofits as well as reviewing blueprints and specifications to ensure function in the intended design and environment. Staying up to date with the latest changes in technology, compliance, and techniques is essential to ensure that we maintain a leading position in the industry.

The working environment is a busy machine shop. Some after-hours support and on-call duties may be required. This position requires the ability to lift up to 90 lbs while handling materials and equipment, both indoors and outdoors.

Qualifications
We prefer candidates with a minimum of 3 years of welding experience and relevant certifications. Preference will also be given to those with aluminum, stainless, MIG, and TIG experience, as well as experience operating manual or semi-automatic flame/plasma cutting equipment. The ability to read and interpret blueprints, along with knowledge of coil tubing and wireline products and terminology, is highly desirable. Strong verbal and written communication skills, computer skills, excellent customer service skills, a professional demeanor, and a positive, team-oriented attitude are key attributes for success in this role. Reliable transportation to the facility is also required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected Hours: No less than 40 per week
