Parking Lot Attendant

 

Job Summary:
The Parking Lot Attendant is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a parking facility. This role involves ensuring the safety and security of the lot, assisting customers with parking and payment, and maintaining a clean and orderly environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Must have a proven record of excellent work attendance and adhere to work schedule.

- Provide assistance with parking, including directing customers to available spaces.
- Handle complaints and resolve parking disputes professionally.
- Monitor the parking area to ensure the safety and security of vehicles and customers.
- Report any suspicious activities or security breaches to the appropriate authorities.
- Enforce parking rules and regulations to prevent unauthorized access and ensure orderly parking.

- Perform routine inspections of the parking facility to identify maintenance needs.
- Keep the parking area clean and free of debris, including emptying trash bins and sweeping.
- Prepare daily activity reports for management review.

 

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strong observational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

 

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Capability to walk and navigate the parking area as needed.
- Ability to lift light to moderate objects (up to 25 lbs).

 

Work Environment:
- This position involves working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Exposure to vehicular traffic and associated noise levels.
