Contract HR Generalist Job Summary:

A leading manufacturing company is seeking a skilled and proactive Contract HR Generalist to support our recruiting efforts and employee relations for a temporary period of two weeks. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing recruiting, an understanding of machine-related roles, and proficiency in HRIS and recruiting platforms. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to make an immediate impact in a dynamic environment while helping to maintain operational continuity.

Contract HR Generalist Responsibilities:

  • Conduct 5-10 interviews per week, prioritizing key positions in manufacturing and sales.
  • Provide support to employees by answering HR-related questions and resolving basic issues.
  • Assist in the recruiting process by screening candidates and facilitating interviews.
  • Maintain and update accurate electronic employee records within HRIS.
  • Help manage communication with candidates and internal teams regarding the hiring process.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and company policies throughout the hiring process.
  • Collaborate with CFO to understand specific needs for positions and tailor recruitment strategies accordingly.
  • Adhere to best practices in candidate communication, ensuring professionalism and clarity in messaging.
  • Perform additional HR-related tasks as needed to support team efforts and maintain workflow.

Schedule & Pay:

  • Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
  • $21-$25/hour, depending on experience.

Contract HR Generalist Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2-3 years of HR experience, particularly in manufacturing environments, is highly desirable.
  • Experience with recruiting platforms is essential.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and general HR practices is required.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and compliance issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
