We are seeking an experienced Chinese Cook to prepare traditional Chinese meals for a group of workers from China who are temporarily in the U.S. to assist with a specialized equipment installation. This is a unique opportunity for someone passionate about authentic Chinese cuisine and capable of managing meal preparations in a mobile food truck environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare 3 traditional Chinese meals daily for the workers, ensuring meals are ready onsite and available for takeaway.
• Conduct grocery runs with the help of an assistant to source authentic ingredients and necessary supplies.
• Operate from a mobile food truck set up at the manufacturing facility, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are upheld.
• Communicate in Chinese with the workers to understand dietary needs and preferences, ensuring a high standard of service.
• Plan and manage your schedule to ensure timely meal preparation while providing flexibility.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience preparing traditional Chinese cuisine, including a wide variety of dishes.
• Ability to communicate fluently in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese).
• Experience with kitchen management and food preparation in a mobile setting or food truck is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills to manage grocery shopping, meal planning, and preparation for a group.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
