Staff Accountant

Express Employment Professionals Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking a full-time Staff Accountant for a Philadelphia based non-profit organization. This is a full-time direct hire position with full benefits. This is not remote.

The Staff Accountant is responsible for the preparation of the property monthly financial statements and general ledger maintenance, which includes but is not limited to preparation of journal entries, review and posting of accounts payable, property cash management, and record monthly cash receipts for tenant and other receivables. Additional primary responsibilities include supporting the VP of Finance with the financial tracking and reporting of grants. Other responsibilities include fixed asset updates, general ledger accounting, and support of the annual audit process.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years of experience in accounting

• Ability to work with high degree of accuracy and follow up

• Good team player with strong service attitude, strong work ethic

Minimum Education: AA or BS degree in accounting or equivalent experience

Salary range, $68,000 (plus full benefits)
