Job Overview:

We are seeking experienced fiberglass pipefitters to join our client's team in Victoria, Tx. The ideal candidate will be skilled in fitting, fabricating, and installing fiberglass piping systems. This role involves working with fiberglass materials rather than traditional steel, ensuring the precise installation and alignment of piping systems used in various industrial and commercial applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and install fiberglass pipes according to project specifications
• Perform layout and assembly of piping systems using isometric drawings and blueprints
• Secure pipes, supports, and related components, ensuring proper alignment and functionality
• Conduct pressure tests and inspections to ensure the integrity of the piping system
• Operate and maintain tools, including saws and grinders, used for fiberglass cutting and fitting
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, especially when working with hazardous materials
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with fiberglass piping required
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Strong knowledge of safety practices related to working with fiberglass materials
• Experience with fiberglass bonding and joining techniques (e.g., adhesives, welding)
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and stand for long periods
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Fiberglass pipefitter certifications are a plus
