Now hiring a Facilities Maintenance Helper to work for a manufacturing company and assisting with general maintenance responsibilities in Jacksonville, NC. This is a long-term opportunity, with additional benefits offered once hired onto our client’s company. You will be assisting company contractors as a runner by performing the following:

• Repair roofing, cleaning roofing sections and painting with a sealant
• Pressure washing the building
• Cleaning reservoir tanks
• Unboxing and sorting new equipment and parts, sorting by metal and disposing of materials
• Helping with lighting upgrades
• Other maintenance responsibilities as requested by a supervisor.

Requirements:

• Resume required
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
• Must be able to show proof of nonslip shoes and painter’s pants (must be able to attain before starting)

 

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, day shift hours, some weekends may be required for overtime
