Oil Superintendent Job Summary:
The Oil Superintendent will provide local supervision for multiple crews servicing wells, performing preventive maintenance (PMs), and addressing operational issues. The role is 70% field-based, requiring travel between various sites in a company vehicle, overseeing training, and ensuring compliance with EPA regulations, environmental standards, and OSHA safety protocols.
Oil Superintendent Responsibilities:
- Supervise multiple 2-4 person crews in the field.
- Monitor and report daily activities and progress.
- Conduct crew analysis to assess efficiency and effectiveness.
- Hire and manage third-party vendors for service needs.
- Ensure all operations meet environmental and safety requirements (EPA/OSHA).
- Train and mentor crew members on industry best practices.
- Report directly to the General Manager.
Schedule & Pay:
- Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:30pm
- $90,000-$100,000/year, depending on experience
Oil Superintendent Qualifications:
- Experience in oil and gas field operations, with a focus on environmental safety.
- 2-5 years experience leading crews in the oil industry preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of EPA and OSHA regulations.
- Ability to handle flexible hours, including weekend on-call duties.
