Plastics Manufacturer Backline Operator – Baton Rouge

Full Time-Evaluation Hire

$15/hr

Monday-Thursday 6am-6pm

 

 

Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently hiring for Backline Operator for a local plastics manufacturer in East Baton Rouge Parish.

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES for Backline Operator:  

• Operate the surface winder and package the finished product
• Monitor the rolling of the product for visual defects
• Record weight and label rejected rolls
• Ensure work area is clean, organized and safe of hazards/debris
• Responsible for disposal of fabric edge trim
• Cross Train for the pre-cut operator line
• Other tasks assigned as needed

Skills and Experience REQUIRED:

• Fast paced and attention to detail
• Must be able to lift 50lbs regularly
