Express on Elm Hill Pike is currently hiring for a Canner / Warehouse position:

 

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Ink Mixing and Canning Technician to join our team. This role involves mixing ink according to specific sheet orders and canning the final product. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a physically demanding environment and have a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ink Mixing: Accurately mix ink based on detailed sheet orders, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Canning: Transfer mixed ink into cans, which may weigh up to 45 lbs after mixing.
• Quality Control: Maintain high standards of quality throughout the mixing and canning process.
• Equipment Maintenance: Regularly clean and maintain mixing and canning equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and handle cans weighing up to 35 lbs regularly, and up to 45 lbs after mixing.
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks throughout the day.
• Willingness to work in a hot warehouse environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.

Qualifications:

• Basic math skills to accurately measure and mix ingredients.
• Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions precisely.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.

Work Environment:

• The warehouse environment can be hot, and the job can be messy. Candidates should be prepared to get dirty.
• An apron will be provided initially, and uniforms will be provided once the candidate becomes a permanent employee.
