Express Employment is looking for a Part Time Driver for one of our respected clients in Caldwell. This job entails picking up and dropping off food donations, professionally working with organizations that conduct food drives and overseeing the food pantry. Company vehicle will be provided

 

Pay: $17.00 / hr 

Schedule: Part Time 24 hours weekly. 

Monday 9:00 – 1:00 pm, Tuesday – Thursday 9:00 am – 4:30 pm Fridays are off.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Pick up donations in a timely manner
• Record donations in the log book/computer
• Drop off and pick up food donation barrels upon request
• Routinely check the temperatures of the cooler and freezer and record
• Oversee volunteers in the food pantry
• Keep the shelves properly stocked
• Check the expiration dates on donated food items
• Dispose of any food that has passed it’s shelf life
• Clear outdoor walkways in winter
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
• Must have a valid drivers license and be at least 21 years old
• Detail oriented
• Self starter
• Team player
• Maintain poise under pressure
• Have a customer service mindset
• Must be able to drive pickup truck with attached trailer
• Must be able to drive box truck with lift
• Must be able to operate pallet jack

 

Physical Requirements:
• Sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, and twisting.
• Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, and reach
overhead. Must be able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly
