Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking an Experienced Mechanic for a equipment provider in E. Amherst, NY!

 

Shift: 8am-5pm Mon - Fri and some Sat 8am-12pm (more common in spring)

 

Payrate: $20/hr+ BOE

 

Summary: Seeking a lead mechanic that can guide and teach the technicians as well as maintain a fast paced service department while keeping our customer''s needs in mind.

 

Duties:

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the service department
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
• Schedule and assign work to service technicians
• Work directly with the service technicians to guide them through the process of repairing and servicing the equipment.
• Ensure service techs have all of the information and tools needed to diagnose and fix the equipment
• Monitor and track service orders to ensure timely completion
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operations
• Maintain accurate records of service activities, including repairs, maintenance, and warranty work
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in Kubota service technology

 

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a dealership or service environment is required
• Strong knowledge of service, including oil changes, diesel engine repair, hydraulics, electrical diagrams, etc.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
