Job description
The cutter operator is responsible for the setup and safe operation of all cutting equipment at different levels of difficulty and ensuring that all items are produced accurately to meet customer specifications. Must be experienced with hydraulic paper cutter.  

Responsibilities

• The cutter operator is responsible for the setup and safe operation of all cutting equipment.
• Accurately set up cutter for each job according to specifications
• Must complete jobs with 100% accurate quantities prior to packing and sending jobs from cutter
• Ability to multitask between jobs as needed to ensure that all material is taken care of and ready to be sent to the next destination
• Performs minor maintenance tasks on machinery
• Demonstrate mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues

Qualifications

• Must be experienced with hydraulic paper cutter
• Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• 1 year previous cutting experience required
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
• Regularly required to stand
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Schedule:
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Education:
• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:
• cutter operator: 1 year (Required)
