Our client in Sun Valley is seeking a Warehouse Manager! 

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for our Sun Valley location
• Promote and drive safety daily in the workplace, crafting a safe work environment for associates
• Provide consistent communication to associates and counterparts
• Continue to increase quality in customer deliveries
• Drive high levels of inventory integrity within the building
• Maintain associate engagement throughout the warehouse
• Maintain and develop a productive warehouse by hiring, training and providing professional development for all of its associates
• Lead and coordinate associates performing activities including; unloading and stocking of inbound shipments, order selection and shipping of outbound orders, cycle counting, and final mile delivery services to our customers
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained in our sites
• Ensure integrity of inventory and confirm that cycle counts are completed daily and accurately
• Maintain security of warehouse and safety of all associates and equipment, reporting any accidents and conveying any issues to management
• Commitment to detail and accuracy

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in warehouse management supervising 15+ employees in a distribution/warehouse environment
• A strong background in Warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is required
• Hands on experience managing a team, including selection, training, mentor, and performance management
• Good interactive interpersonal skills with ability to successfully communicate to different levels of the organization
• Material Handling Equipment Certification
• Experience developing a team of delivery drivers is a plus
• A confirmed understanding of OSHA and DOT regulations
• Ability to make decisions under pressure and pro-actively plan
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to direct a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $40.00 per hour
