Overview: Are you looking to work for a leading manufacturer in the Hodgkins area? Express has an exciting opportunity for you! We are partnering with a client specializing in the manufacturing of bubble wrap, seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to assist with machine repairs on the floor. The ideal candidate will have experience working with extrusion machines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all production equipment operates efficiently and effectively.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and install equipment and production lines.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Work with hydraulics, wrappers, conveyors, and packaging equipment.

Qualifications:

• Possess 5+ years of electromechanical experience in large manufacturing plants.
• Strong PLC experience required.
• Electrical experience up to 480v.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• 2-year vocational degree/training preferred.
• Safety-conscious and team-oriented.
