QC Lab Technician

Located in Cincinnati, OH

Salary: $26.50 an hour

Position: QC Lab Technician 

Compensation: $26.50 an hour + a review at 3,6,9 and 12 months 

Location: Harrison, OH 

Shift: 12-hour shifts- Sunday, Monday & Friday = 36 hours one week and Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, & Friday=48 hours the next week. 

• • 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Key Functions:

• Perform analysis of raw materials, plant intermediates, and final products, and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Ensure consistent attendance and reliability in the workplace.
• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records of all analytical work and laboratory instrumentation.
• Provide timely analytical results to production personnel.
• Alert production staff to any quality issues or abnormal observations and troubleshoot plant processes as needed.
• Manage the procurement of laboratory supplies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly QC laboratory environment.
• Prepare and submit periodic written reports on quality control activities.
• Develop and qualify new analytical methods for the lab, utilizing HPLC, GC, and Auto Titrators.

Qualifications:

• Completion of two years of college-level chemistry coursework.
• Successful completion of a post-offer physical and drug screen.
• Proficiency in analytical testing techniques including HPLC, GC, and general laboratory testing equipment.
• Proficient in PC usage in a Windows environment.
• Experience with ISO standards is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• Over 3 years of experience in the chemical field.
