Express Employment has partnered with a reputable local food manufacturer specializing in premium bleu cheese and gorgonzola cheese production. Wages and Shifts:

 

2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 11:00am-7:30pm one week

$20.24/hour

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

• Operating various machinery and equipment according to established production standards.
• Conducting equipment inspections to ensure safe and proper functioning.
• Adhering to operational procedures and completing necessary paperwork accurately.
• Following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), maintaining quality control standards, and participating in cleaning and sanitation processes.
• Reporting any non-compliant, defective, or sub-standard products to your supervisor promptly.

• Pouring cheese into machines

• Putting the cheese curd into the appropriate forms

• Stacking and flipping the forms, packaging as needed

• Being flexible and assisting in different areas of the manufacturing plant as needed.
• Participating in company-supplied job-related training classes or seminars.
• All other duties as as directed

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

 

• Minimum of a high school diploma is preferred.
• Previous Food Manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to bend, twist, stoop, reach, pull, and lift up to 50lbs frequently.
• Ability to read, interpret, and understand written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills to calculate production yields and understand weights and measures.
• Proficiency in verbal and written communication in the English language.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends as needed.
