Express Employment Professionals is a professional staffing agency company dedicated to helping local businesses find local people. Our client located in Nampa, ID is seeking experienced  Maintenance Mechanic to join their team! 

Job Description: 
As a Maintenance Mechanic you will be responsible for the preventative maintenance, repair and installation of manufacturing equipment.  They would also provide maintenance support for the various facilities and structures on the company property. 

Job Duties: 
•    Install, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair equipment, electrical components and special purpose machines as assigned 
•    Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine how to correct them by checking blueprints, repair manuals and parts catalogs
•    Operate a variety of hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, change parts and complete tasks as assigned
•    Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions 
•    Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly 
•    Ability to think independently wile successfully functioning in a team environment with a proven track record of contributing toward team goals

Preferred Education and Experience 
•    At least 3 years of maintenance / electrician experience with at least two years working in a manufacturing environment 
•    Experience with PLC’s and ability to read schematics 
•    Welding skills preferred 
•    High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
•    Working knowledge of basic safety programs, lock-out/tag-out, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical and mechanics 

Pay:
$25.00/hr+ DOE
