Express Employment Professionals in Lawrence, Kansas are seeking a part time Insurance/Medical Billing Specialist for a locally owned Lawrence business. Responsibilities include, credentialing new staff with insurance companies, verification of client benefits, submission of insurance claims, monitor reimbursements, resolve rejected or denied insurance claims, and communicate with clients and their families regarding outstanding balances. Ideal candidate will have excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills, strong time management and organizational skills, experience working with Medicaid, Medicare, Humana, Cigna, Aetna, BCBS, and United Healthcare.
