Exposed Wood Dept Machine Operator

Located in Grand Rapids, MI

Salary: $17.50/HR

Machine Operator Job Summary: Grand Rapids office furniture company is seeking a Machine Operator to work with their exposed wood pieces to join their team. This is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action/Veteran/Disability Employer.

Machine Operator Responsibilities:

• Working with wood furniture products such as plywood and laminate
• Loading/unloading parts into presses
• Inspecting parts
• Sanding
• Gluing materials together
• Performing general preventative maintenance
• Filling out all production paperwork
• Following written instructions
• Completing paperwork accurately
• Performing job set-ups as needed and pursue training opportunities which further job skills
• Candidates will need to meet production rates and high quality standards

Schedule & Pay:

• 2nd shift 3:30pm-2:00am Monday-Thursday with OT on Fridays and Saturdays as needed
• $17.50/HR

Machine Operator Qualifications:

• Previous machine operating experience preferred but willing to train
• Mechanically inclined
• Attention to detail
• Reliable
• Team Player
• High school diploma or GED
