Bilingual Masonry Foreman:

As a foreman, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of masonry construction projects. Your expertise in masonry techniques and leadership abilities will ensure the successful execution of projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with project managers, construction teams, and clients to achieve project goals while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Job Duties:

  • Led a team of masons and laborers, providing clear direction, instruction, and motivation to ensure efficient workflow
  • Collaborate with project managers to plan and schedule daily activities, allocate resources effectively, and monitor progress to meet project milestones.
  • Ensure that all masonry works meet industry standards, specs, and client expectations through regular inspections and quality checks.
  • Identify and resolve issues that may arise during construction, such as design discrepancies, material shortages, or technical challenges, with a focus on minimizing delays and maintaining productivity.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including labor hours, equipment usage, and progress reports. Provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders.

Job Qualifications:

  • Several years of experience as a foreman, with demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of masonry work. Must be able to read a set of plans and build according to engineer and architect specifications.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Comprehensive understanding of masonry techniques, materials, and tools, including the ability to interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to identify issues, analyze problems, and implement effective solutions in a dynamic construction environment.
  • Relevant certifications (OSHA Safety Certification, Forklift Certification) 

Working Conditions:

  • Work may be performed indoors or outdoors, depending on the project.
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments is essential.
  • Requires daily travel to different job sites or client locations
