Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced TIG Welder/Tube Bender with a strong background in stainless steel fabrication to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess advanced skills in TIG welding and tube bending, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing top-notch, precision work.

Key Responsibilities:

• TIG Welding:

  • Perform high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel components and assemblies.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to determine specifications and requirements.
  • Set up and operate welding equipment, including adjusting settings and parameters for optimal performance.
  • Inspect and test welds to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and procedures.

• Tube Bending:

  • Operate tube bending machinery to produce accurately bent stainless steel tubes and pipes.
  • Measure and mark tubing for accurate bending and cutting.
  • Configure and adjust bending equipment for various tube sizes and shapes.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and precision, making adjustments as needed.

• General Duties:

  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely project completion.
  • Perform routine maintenance on welding and bending equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to welding and bending processes.
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed, including materials used and time spent.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a TIG Welder with a strong focus on stainless steel fabrication.
• Hands-on experience with tube bending machinery and techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong understanding of welding safety procedures and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification in TIG welding and/or tube bending is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training or degree preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort with standing for extended periods and performing physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions.
