Schedule: Monday – Friday and Saturday in busy season (rotate weekends)
Shift: 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. or 8 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. 

 

Pay: $21/hr. 

 

Will drive within 100-mile radius

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Maintains truck log, according to state and federal regulations.
Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.
Loads and unloads truck.
Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
Performs emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, tire chains, and spark plugs.
Positions blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo during transit.

Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must possess a current valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A)
Must possess a current medical certificate

Other Skills and Abilities    
Forklift skills preferred but not required

Trailers= Flatbed, Curtain, Refer, End Dump, Belly Dump, Lo Boy.
Hauling= Onions, Gravel, Tractors

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions and vibration. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places and fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
