Position Overview: As a Busser/Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the pristine condition of our dining environment while providing seamless support to our front-of-house team. You will ensure that tables are promptly cleared and reset, and that all areas of the restaurant are kept clean and inviting. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Table Bussing:

  • Quickly and efficiently clear and reset tables between guests.
  • Remove dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils, and transport them to the dishwashing area.
  • Ensure that table settings are properly arranged and ready for new guests.
  • Assist servers in delivering food and beverages as needed.

• Cleaning Duties:

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including floors, surfaces, and restrooms.
  • Perform regular cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing.
  • Monitor and replenish supplies (e.g., napkins, utensils, condiments) as needed.
  • Dispose of trash and recycling in accordance with restaurant procedures.

• Customer Service:

  • Provide a courteous and professional demeanor when interacting with guests.
  • Address any immediate needs or concerns of guests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Support the front-of-house team to ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for all patrons.

• Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate service.
  • Assist with special event setups and breakdowns as required.
  • Follow all restaurant policies and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and service.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a busser or cleaning role in a high-end restaurant or similar environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
