Aviation is needing an inventory clerk. 

 

Summary/Objective: Verify and maintain records on warehouse inventory by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Puts away stock
• Coordinates and performs inventory movements
• Performs bin/warehouse maintenance as needed • Properly identifies all boxes in stock with the correct storage unit and material number • Assists in inventory control by conducting location validations and stock counts and correcting inventory discrepancies • Counts, sorts, and identifies items against the delivery note prior to process • Inspects the received goods, making note of any damages and discrepancies, and immediately reporting the same • Reports to management areas of concern regarding issues within inventory control • Maintains and updates inventory records • Develops all necessary reports and documentation to facilitate accurate inventory counts including records of all audits, counts and adjustments • Operates a forklift and Raymond • Regular, in person attendance is mandatory for successful job performance
Qualifications and Requirements:
• 1-3 years of relevant warehouse and forklift experience
• Current driver’s license
• Strong knowledge of using a PC for data entry, Excel, Word and Outlook
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize daily tasks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong work ethic with reliability and dependability
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and complete responsibilities within time constraints
• Ability to locate and handle parts in a warehouse environment

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, reaching, overhead reaching, keyboarding, etc. during the workday. The employee must frequently lift, carry, grasp, and/or move items averaging 30 to 50 pounds. The employee must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled facility.
