LOADER OPERATOR / YARD PERSON

 

Overview: The Loader Operator / Yard Person reports directly to the Plant Manager and is responsible for the safe and proper handling, loading, and storage of aggregate materials; and for the proper care and maintenance of plant equipment as assigned by the Plant Manager; and for general housekeeping of plant property and premises.

 

The Loader Operator / Yard Person – $20 per hour

Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting a Heavy Equipment Operator for an immediate opening with a local Farming fertilizer and chemical dealer company. This role requires preparing and manipulating equipment to ensure materials are placed in the correct location, while operating in a safe and diligent manner.

Responsibilities:

• Maneuvering motorized heavy equipment to ensure the accurate removal and placement of materials
• Loading and offloading rocks, debris, and other materials from heavy equipment
• Observing outlined safety codes at all times
• Communication with coworkers about project specifications

 

What we look for:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience using heavy equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
