We’re looking for a dedicated professional to set up, adjust, and operate numerically controlled machine tools to perform various machining operations with exacting tolerances. In this role, you will work on programming instructions and machine setup data to ensure the highest quality and efficiency in our production processes.

Essential Functions:

Evaluate Blueprints and Drawings: Assess blueprints, drawings, and sample parts to determine methods and sequence of operations for fabricating parts.

Machine Setup and Operation: Set up and adjust programming, machine controls, and tool arrangements. Operate CNC machines to perform operations such as boring, milling, drilling, facing, threading, and occasional profiling and contouring.

Quality Assurance: Check parts for conformance to specifications and ensure they meet established production and quality goals.

Tool and Material Handling: Select, align, and secure fixtures, tools, and materials on machines. Enter commands to regulate machining or edit computerized machine control media.

Multi-Unit Operation: Manage and operate multiple machines simultaneously if required.

Qualifications and Experience:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Machine Setup/Operator or equivalent.

Technical Skills: Proficient in reading blueprints and using micrometers and calipers.

Knowledge: Familiarity with machining techniques, CNC operating procedures, and the ability to follow written instructions.

Certification: Certificate of completion from a Certified Machining Program is a plus.
