Pipe Fitter 1 – $18-$20 per hour (Steel industry experience preferred. Must have at least 3+ years of experience)

Responsibilities:
Some typical tasks performed may include a combination of the following:
•    Review project assignment/instructions from Team Leader
•    Review drawings and job traveler for specific requirements
•    Obtain understanding of task and develop action plan
•    Tack assembly together per specifications
•    Ensure work meets quality standards
•    Consistently look for ways to eliminate waste and improve processes
•    Practice safety in all aspects of job
•    Look for safety issues with equipment and processes
Qualifications: 
•    High School Diploma/GED
•    Proven ability to consistently produce high quality fabricated components
•    Be able to read and understand fabrication drawings, blueprints, welding procedures and shop travelers
•    Ability to read weld symbols
•    Fluent in English, working with written and verbal communications
•    Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards
•    Ability to follow instructions
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 6:00am-3:30pm; OT available on Saturdays 6am-12pm

Perform welding tasks using various techniques (e.g., TIG, MIG, Stick) to join pipes and fabricate components.
Ensure the quality of welds, inspecting work for conformance with specifications and industry standards.

Assemble and install piping systems according to project requirements.
Collaborate with other trades and construction professionals to ensure seamless integration of pipe systems. Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter Welder in similar industry

Ability to lift and carry heavy pipes, tools, and equipment.
Endurance to stand, bend, and move for extended periods during the fabrication and installation processes. fine motor skills for tasks such as fitting and assembling pipes
