Express Employment Professionals in Everett is hiring an Electrical Technician for a local manufacturing company. This is a full-time, permanent role offering pay of $30-$45 per hour plus benefits.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician specializing in Industrial Controls. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment with a focus on industrial control systems. This role requires a strong understanding of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems, HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), and other related technologies used in industrial automation.

Essential Functions:

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and industrial control components such as PLCs, HMIs, motor controls, sensors, and switches.
• Perform preventive maintenance routines to ensure equipment reliability and uptime.
• Interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to optimize system performance and efficiency.
• Calibrate instrumentation and verify system operation following repairs or modifications.
• Adhere to safety protocols and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members.
• Document maintenance activities, including repairs, parts usage, and equipment status.
• Participate in training programs to stay current with technological advancements in industrial controls.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • High School Graduate
  • BA degree preferred
• Experience:
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Technician or similar role, preferably in an industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial control systems, PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.), and SCADA systems.
  • Familiarity with electrical testing equipment and tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and a systematic approach to problem-solving.
  • Understanding of safety regulations and practices related to electrical systems.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
  • Certification or associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field (preferred).
