Electrical Design Engineer

Salary: $100k

We are currently recruiting for Electrical Design Engineers to join the team of our growing client, an engineering consulting firm in the Madison area.

 

A strong candidate for this position has the ability to develop a full set of electrical plans, write specifications, and monitor a project through construction.

 

Responsibilities include:

Design of lighting and lighting control, power and low voltage electrical systems. 

Load calculations

System sizing and layouts

Cost estimating

Calculating/sizing electrical equipment

Facility field survey

 

 

 

Qualifications:

• 4 year degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, or Design degree and equivalent experience
• 3 - 10 years of experience in electrical engineering and project management
• Experience working for an engineering consulting firm preferred
• PE license or Registered Desginer License is prefered but not required to apply

Schedule: This is an in-office role with flexible scheduling during day time hours.

*Remote work is an option for specific circumstances that come up

*There is some travel to client sites, but not significant, and is optional

 

Pay: Will be based on previous experience, starting around $100k for candidates without PE license. 

Candidates with PE license start at $115k
