Job Title: Logistics - Storeroom Attendant - Integrated Supply

 

Hours: Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm. Occasional OT.

 

This is a temp assignment that is expected to last 3 months while an associate is on leave. Potential to become temp to hire if the situation changes.

 

-50% customer service / 50% general warehouse duties.

-Must be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted.

-Must have good customer-service skills and be punctual and reliable,  verifiable with work references.

-Steel toe shoes required.

-Must be a US Citizen, pass drug test and criminal background check

 

$20/hour

 

Position Summary:

 

Fulfill daily receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting of inventory.  Responsible for maintaining a professional, clean and organized work environment.

 

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Unload, receive and put away incoming products, goods, tools and equipment; unpack bales and crates; check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.
  • Accurately sort, label, move and store items; place material on racks or in bins; arrange storage to optimize crib space.
  • Issue products, goods, tools and equipment to site employees; document and maintain accurate records for issued and returned items.
  • Enter data into a database to maintain up-to-date stock records; retrieve stored information to respond to inquiries; document discrepancies on an error log and seek management advice on appropriate corrective action.
  • Request requisitions to replenish inventory.
  • Assist with inventory level maintenance; perform cycle counts and prepare report results.
  • Inspect and measure tools/equipment for defects, wear and tear and report damage or wear to supervisors.
  • Prepare periodic inventory or maintain perpetual inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Deliver tools or equipment to associate work locations.
  • Investigate and locate lost or misplaced equipment or safety supplies.
  • May repair, service and lubricate tools and equipment as required.

 

Job Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience and/or training.  High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Relevant experience and/or aptitude should include:

  • Loading, unloading, picking, packing or moving goods in a warehouse environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work orders, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Basic computer knowledge and proficiency; preferred technical skills to include MS-Office products, Vista, Control, SX.e, Prophet 21.
  • Demonstration of basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units to measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals); ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and be self-motivated to accomplish assigned tasks and goals.
  • Demonstration of attention to detail and is safety minded.

 

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

  • May be required to wear various forms of protective equipment (shoes, gloves, protective eyewear, etc.)
  • Assigned work shifts may vary and/or rotate.
  • Overtime may be required; extended day, evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand and may include little to no advanced notice.
  • Must be able to handle and work physical inventory; required to lift up safely.  Regularly required to stand, walk, kneel, bend, crouch, crawl, climb and balance.
  • Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus are required.
