Job Summary: The Clerical Data Entry role involves accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining data within various systems and databases. The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to handle a high volume of information while ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Entry and Management:

    • Enter and update data into computer systems and databases accurately and efficiently.
    • Verify and correct data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
    • Perform regular data backups and updates as required.
  2. Document Handling:

    • Process and categorize incoming documents, forms, and information.
    • Scan and digitize physical documents as needed.
    • Maintain organized and accessible electronic and physical filing systems.
  3. Quality Control:

    • Review data for errors and inconsistencies.
    • Conduct routine audits of data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    • Implement data entry standards and procedures to maintain data integrity.
  4. Administrative Support:

    • Assist with generating reports and summaries from data as required.
    • Provide support for data-related inquiries from other departments or stakeholders.
    • Perform additional clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and faxing as needed.
  5. Communication and Coordination:

    • Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding data entry progress and issues.
    • Coordinate with other departments to gather and confirm data as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in data entry or related fields is a plus.
  • Proven experience in data entry or a clerical role involving significant data handling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data entry software.
  • Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Working Conditions:

  • 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday
  • $12/h to start with possibility of Pay Raises
