Express Employment Professionals of Everett is hiring a Purchasing Manager for company in Monroe, WA. This is for a leading supplier of hydraulics kits. This small, dynamic company offers a collaborative and forward-thinking culture. We have an immediate need for an experienced Purchasing Manager. 

Compensation: $35 per hour to $43 per hour, DOE
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Title: Purchasing Manager

Job Description:

• Ensure inventory is readily available at all times and within budget.
• Develop purchasing strategies with goals, managing purchasing parameters within budget constraints.
• Manage vendor performance with a strong emphasis on quality, lead times, and fill rate.
• Implement process improvements in purchasing to assist product delivery.
• Develop and implement purchasing improvement plans.
• Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs).
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and sales on part delivery and availability (inventory updates).
• Enter Bill of Materials for sub-kits into ERP.

Qualifications:

• Over 5 years of experience in purchasing practices and procedures.
• Proficiency in ERP, MRP, and advanced Excel (Pivot tables/Macros).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong negotiating skills.
• Process-oriented mindset to improve purchasing processes.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
• Mechanical aptitude is a must.
• Ideal industry background in manufacturing, construction, merchandising, or parts.
