Salary: $65K-$75k/yr DOE

Express Employment Professionals has a contract opportunity available for an experienced Financial Analyst with a manufacturer in Sevier County, TN.  

 

Financial Analyst will be performing general accounting functions and providing support to the Controller and management staff.  Will also be assisting in preparing the operations forecasts and budgets, and helping with month and year-end close. 

 

Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:

• Assisting with preparing weekly, monthly, and annual forecasts.
• Administering financial policies to safeguard assets and assure sound accounting controls to meet SOX compliance.
• Performing SOX compliance audits.
• Modifying and Maintaining a system of control for classifying production costs into labor, materials and overhead.
• Managing fixed asset accounting.
• Preparing product line profitability and related special reports.
• Analyzing and approving cost savings projects.
• Assisting in preparation of long-range plans and strategies.
• Interfacing with representatives from sales, engineering, purchasing, materials, finance / operations, corporate finance, treasury and internal/external auditors.

Financial Analyst Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting / Finance
• MS Office and SAP proficiency
• Strong accounting knowledge and practical application of GAAP
• Effective time management
• High level of independent judgement, professionalism, and integrity

Contract is slated to last 12-16 months.

Pays $65,000 - $75,000/yr depending on experience.
