Facility Maintenance Technician 

Located in Troutdale, OR

 

OVERVIEW: If you consider yourself as a solution seeker and like to work in a hands-on position, we have the job for you! This is an independent family owned company that services heat treating options for the automotive and manufacturing community. The maintenance role is a hands-on position, requiring you to be responsible for preventative and timely routine maintenance of facilities and all heat-treating related processing equipment. This is an evaluation to hire position.

 

DUTIES:

• Trouble shoot, diagnose and repair processing equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment
• Communicate with outside vendors to source parts and components
• Lifting up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis
• Standing for more than 8 hours per day
• Be able to work in an independent environment

 

PAY: $20-$30 per hour DOE

 

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

 

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• At least two years’ experience in maintenance or millwright
• Ability to weld, solder and braze a variety of materials
• Practical knowledge and experience in plumbing and electric systems
• Ability to read and understand service manuals, mechanical drawings and blueprints
