Milwaukee company is seeking Warehouse Associate!  

 

Temp-to-hire 

$18-$19/hour

8AM-4:30PM, M-F

 

Title: Warehouse Associate (non-forklift)

Primary Responsibility: Packing and shipping parcel packages. Lifting: up to 50 pounds. 100 pounds with team lift.

Secondary Responsibility: Picking parcel orders. Lifting: up to 50 pounds. 100 pounds with team lift.

Other responsibilities: Cross-trained on other warehouse functions as time allows.

Ideal Experience: Packaging and processing UPS packages for shipment. Warehouse order picking, Unit of measure (case/each/foot/pallet/ etc.), warehouse housekeeping.

 

 

Job description for a pick-and-pack position depends on a set routine of order fulfillment that assumes a familiarity with the products.

 

1. Pulling the items off the shelf

2. Sorting the items and recounting to make sure all the products on the order request are ready to be packed.

3. Final inspection to ensure quality control is next, followed by the packing of the shipping container, which includes filling all voids for a secure shipment.

4. Labeling and addressing the container, as well as transporting the container to the staging area of the shipping department.
