POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• On-boarding

o Calling new hires, sending out “Welcome” emails

o Compiling and maintaining personnel records, (electronic and paper files)

o Processing and maintaining Human Resources personnel files for all staff

o Following-up to ensure all New Hire/Payroll paperwork is completed and returned in a timely manner

 

• Counseling, Performance and Corrective Actions

o Assist Division Presidents, Program Directors, MPICs, and Administrative Managers and Supervisors regarding subordinates’ performance, behavioral or interpersonal concerns of clinical and non-clinical staff

o Attend and participate in counseling meetings primarily via conference call, taking appropriate notes to formalize and distribute the meeting summary which identifies the issues, actionable and follow-up items, as well as outlining any disciplinary or official notices necessary

 

• Facilitate and process all drug and background screenings for applicants while managing final screening confirmations with background screening vendors.

• Reviewing non-clinical resumes, referring to appropriate individuals for consideration.

• Working with individuals regarding leave requests, such as Apogee Leave, FMLA, Military Leave, and Extended Leaves of Absence

• On a weekly rotation basis, answering questions sent to general HR email

• Place employment ads and assist with recruitment with temp agencies or other recruitment processes

• Update databases in HR ACE and ADP for New Employees, Terminations, Address and Other Changes

• Research and analyze data for special projects and policy development

• Responding to staff questions regarding various aspects of their employment, Workers Compensation, Unemployment claims, Background and Drug Screening requests, Employment Verifications, Non-Clinical staff credentialing

• Other duties as assigned or when assistance is needed

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• A minimum of 2-3 years Human Resources experience in a business professional setting. • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills and communication.

• Enjoys working closely within a team environment, working with support staff and chief levels.

• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel.

• Must be comfortable working in a paperless environment.

• Displays excellent written communication.

• Keeping detailed documentation on employee complaints, grievances, and discipline, including terminations.

• Leave Administration documentation.

• Well organized, detail oriented, and able to prioritize.

• Focus will be successfully onboarding new Members and ensuring they’re comfortable and confident with, contacting Hospital locations to complete onboarding credentials as needed to start our new members, in a timely manner.

• Complete and process all payroll and government regulated documents in a timely manner.

• Working in tandem with recruiting team to assist with accepted offer candidates. • Critical thinking, problem-solving skills/mindset, and being pro-active

• Self-Starter who possesses a Positive Outlook, a Team Attitude, and has the desire to provide the highest level of Customer Service to Apogee’s Employees.
