Express is urgently seeking Harvest Laborers to join our team!

We are urgently hiring experienced and reliable Laborers for multiple evaluation hire positions with several large employer in the LC Valley. This position will require overtime and you must be willing to work up to 7 days/week in a physically demanding role! 

This position is an evaluation hire opportunity.

Pay: $17-19/hr

Shift: Monday to Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Overtime is paid on anything over 40 hours/week!

 

Job Duties:

• Perform a variety of physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials and equipment.
• Load/Unload trucks and/or rail cars.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment - duties may include sweeping and wiping down surfaces
• Follow instructions and work closely with team members to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
• Operate basic tools and machinery as needed, adhering to safety protocols.
• Support daily operations by completing assigned tasks and projects on time.
• Handle routine maintenance and repair tasks as required.
• Operate a forklift

 

Experience:

While formal education is not required, candidates with recent experience in general labor or similar roles are preferred. A strong background in physical work, reliability, and the ability to follow instructions will be advantageous for this position.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs independently on a regular basis and up to 100lbs as a team lift on occasion.
• Ability to walk and stand for the entire shift.
• Full range of body movements: bend, stoop, twist, reach, kneel, squat, reach at or above shoulder height

 

Qualifications: 

• Recent experience in a similar position.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Successful completion of a drug test and background check.
