Field Service / Controls Technician

Salary: $30-38 an hour.

Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking a Field Service / Controls Technician to fill a Direct Hire opening in West Chester, OH!

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Field Service Work is required.
• Previous experience in HVAC, Controls, or Building Automation is required.
• Two years of practical experience in quality control/technical service with PLC experience.
• Ability to read PLC ladder logic, HMI databases, electrical drawings, mechanical schematics, P&ID drawings, and O&M manuals.
• 70% travel requirement
• High School Graduate or equivalent.

 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-startup checks and validation of equipment and systems.
• Oversee start-up of equipment at customer sites, addressing any issues and validating communication protocols.
• Make PLC and HMI program adjustments as needed.
• Train customer personnel on system operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and vendors to address problems.

• Finalize and submit field service reports and project documentation.
• Assist in quality control and final assembly testing.

 

Compensation: $30-38 an hour.
