They are looking for an efficient and organized Office Manager to join the team and support daily operations.

 

Job Summary: The Office Manager will play a vital role in the overall management of this truck repair shop by handling accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, HR duties such as employee onboarding and benefits administration, and ensuring efficient office operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting and HR skills, along with experience using ADP and QuickBooks.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable & Receivable:
  • Manage the processing of invoices and ensure timely payments to vendors.
  • Oversee customer invoicing and collections to maintain healthy cash flow.
  • Payroll Management:
  • Process payroll accurately and on time using ADP, ensuring compliance with labor laws.
  • Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Human Resources Duties:
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and necessary documentation.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and answer HR-related questions from staff.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • General Office Management:
  • Develop and implement office procedures to streamline operations.
  • Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Facilitate communication between staff and management to promote a positive work environment.
  • Financial Reporting:
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and budgets to aid in decision-making.
  • Collaborate with management to support strategic planning and financial forecasting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in office/accounting management or a similar role, preferably in the automotive or repair industry.
  • Proficiency in ADP and QuickBooks is required.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and HR best practices.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
