We are hiring a QC Lab Technician for Tucker Area 2nd Shift and 3rd Shift Available $20hr-$24hr MUST HAVE Min 2-year experience performing technical laboratory operations in areas listed above as well as quality control/quality assurance background

QC Lab Technician Responsibilities:

• Technical ability in laboratory equipment/machines (RO-TAP, Moisture Analyzers, balances, equipment related to particle sizing and rubber standards).
• Possess analytical skills to understand tests, perform tests, analyze and report results.
• Works cooperatively with operations on testing/operating protocols and requirements to meet and exceed quality requirements. Ensures that supervisor is aware of deviations from requirements.
• Assist laboratory technicians II and above with tasks/input in creating/improving working instructions and procedures.
• Reviews, releases, and records sample results and generates reports as needed.
• Evaluates raw materials, finished products, equipment, non-conformances/dispositions, and informs appropriate management personnel as required.
• Possess the ability to read work orders, instructions, formulas, or processing charts.
• Assist with needs focused on development and conducting of programs of sampling and analysis to maintain quality standards of raw materials, in-process products, and final products.
• Possess and learn critical thinking skills and creativity in problem solving.
• Strong organizational skills with good verbal and written communication skills.
• Interact in a positive manner with management, leaders, and coworkers.
• Work independently and as part of a team. Train new technicians in certain tasks.
• Effectively manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in laboratory best practices.
• Help lab technicians II and above in projects.
• Lift 35 lbs. and stand for long periods of time, reach, carry, move, push, pull, and bend.
• Understand and follow all procedures to meet requirements to maintain lab certifications, including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Participate in internal and external audits.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
