We are seeking an organized and motivated Yard Manager to oversee a team of 6 loaders and ensure efficient yard operations in a leading sheet metal manufacturing company. This role is vital to delivering a seamless customer experience and maintaining high operational standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all loading procedures to ensure accuracy and safety.
• Ensure customer orders are correct before they leave the yard.
• Direct the loading team on daily tasks and set clear expectations.
• Establish and maintain the most efficient storage and yard layout for smooth operations.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience by ensuring quick, correct, and courteous service.
• Handle and resolve any loading or order issues that arise.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on positive interactions.
• Proven ability to delegate tasks effectively and follow up on completion.
• A positive attitude and excellent communication skills when dealing with employees and customers.
• Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and the desire to grow within the company.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Metal building knowledge or experience is a plus, but not required.
