Quality Assurance Technician

Valdosta, GA

Local plastic manufacturer seeking qualified Quality Assurance Technicians. 

 

Swing Shift : 3on-2off-2on-3off

DAYS: 7am-7pm 

$18/hr. to start or BOE

 

Responsibilities:

• Carry out QC Inspections on components manufactured on all production machines, All customer specific QC inspections, and Post-production QC checks.
• Continually identify process and product risks that may result in products not meeting customer requirements and reporting them to area management.
• Liaise with Department Managers and shift supervisors on all quality related production problems; Liaise with production and customer service on quality concerns, held production, Corrective Action/Preventative Action (CAPA) and quality Alerts.
• Determine Disposition of suspect product produced.
• Carry out administration and reporting.
• Liaise with sales, customer service, corporate engineering, and the customer on the design and development of the new products; Liaise with the department managers with mold and tooling related production issues.

Requirements:

• HSD/GED
• MINIMUM of 2+ years in Quality Assurance.
• Computer Skills; Written & Oral Skills; Data-entry skills; Microsoft
• Self-Starter, Driven, Eager-to-work, Diligent
• Work as a Cross-Functional Team member.
• Knowledge of GFSI or other food packaging standards.
• Leadership Qualities - work in a team setting and complete job with clarity and confidence.
