Salary: $22-32/ hour

Our client is looking to fill an Equipment Service Technician role. This position is critical in relations between the company and its’ customers with the primary goal of ensuring overall quality and customer satisfaction goals are exceeded. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, someone who excels in a fast-paced customer- centric atmosphere, seeks challenges and presents creative solutions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Technical service operations (diagnose and resolve technical issues) for Canada
  • Install equipment and educate customers & their employees on machinery maintenance.
  • Experience with diesel engines and heating systems a definite asset
  • Maintain and repair equipment, including test run of machinery to ensure performance and quality rates adhere to specifications
  • Provide exceptional experience to customers in all aspects of service and support
  • Use a collaborative approach with team members to find solutions if they cannot be reached within own skill set
  • Utilize company CRM to maintain thorough and accurate documentation
  • Maintain and continue to develop in-depth product & service knowledge.
  • Passion for quality but conscious of meeting deadlines with superior interpersonal skills.
  • Monitor physical inventory levels and replenish as needed.
  • Implementing improved process or operational policies for continuous business operations improvement.
  • Recommend changes to products or services to fulfill customer needs.

Qualifications:

  • Previous technical experience in a field customer service environment
  • Experience working with heating components, an asset
  • Excellent technical and organization skills
  • Exceptional communication and ability to work effectively with others
  • Good judgment, with ability to prioritize and effectively multi-task
  • Effective listening, and ability to communicate both verbally and written in a professional manner.
  • Experience providing superior customer service
  • Leadership skills with demonstrated action, follow-through and decision-making ability to take ownership of responsibilities and champion customer service

Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license with no personal driving restrictions & good driving record
  • Valid passport, no personal travel restrictions
  • Must be available for on-call schedule & possible OT in winter months
