Incoming Inspector

Salary: $20+/hour BOE

The Incoming Inspector will be responsible for inspecting and verifying the quality of components and materials received from suppliers to ensure they meet our stringent quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical component drawings, expertise in using precision measurement tools, and the ability to enter data accurately into our Quality Management System.

Key Responsibilities:

• Component Inspection: Perform detailed inspections of incoming components and materials using micrometers, calipers, height indicators, and optical comparators to ensure they meet specified tolerances and quality standards.
• Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret mechanical level component drawings to understand the requirements and specifications for each part.
• Data Entry: Accurately enter inspection results and other relevant data into our Quality Management System, maintaining detailed records of inspections.
• Quality Documentation: Document and report any non-conformances or discrepancies found during inspections. Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams to address and resolve quality issues.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with AS9100D and ISO 9001 standards and other relevant quality control regulations.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback and recommendations to enhance quality processes and procedures.
