We have a client in Reading, PA who is looking for a Billing Clerk/Billing Specialist. They are looking for someone who is reliable, dependable, and someone who is looking to build a career!

 

Billing Specialist

 

Pay: $15.00-$17.00/hr

Benefits: Holiday and Vacation Pay, Health Insurance, Vision, Dental, 401(k), and more!

Shift: 1st Shift Monday through Friday (8am-5pm)

Location: Reading, PA

 

Responsibilities of the Billing Specialist:

• Perform daily routine monitoring of schedules for accuracy
• Use the electronic health record system to finalize all batches
• Ensure appropriate reimbursement for services is rendered
• Report any discrepancies to the appropriate personnel within a timely manner
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications of The Billing Specialist:

• 2+years of billing experience, medical field preferred
• Associates degree or higher is preferred, will substitute experience for lack of degree
• Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft programs required
