Salary: $2.50-$32 Hourly DOE

Express Employment Professionals is looking for a 2nd shift Diesel Mechanic in Midland TX!

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years of experience working as a lead Technician.

Pay: $25-$32/hr DOE

Shift: Monday through Friday, 3pm -3am

Responsibilities:

 

o   Repair and maintain refuse bodies, including control, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

o   Inspect, diagnose, and repair air and hydraulic braking systems.

o   Perform maintenance and repairs on suspension, drivetrain, and steering systems.

o   Service heating and air conditioning systems.

o   Conduct routine and emergency repairs on diesel engines.

o   Perform diagnostics using electronic tools to identify the source of malfunctions.

o   Execute line maintenance welding and fabrication tasks as needed.

o   Provide road service to ensure equipment is returned to operation safely and efficiently when necessary.

o   Complete applicable Company training programs.

o   Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with Company standards and regulations.

o   Perform other job-related duties as assigned or as apparent.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience with maintenance work on Classes 1-5 light/medium duty and heavy-duty Class 7-8 trucks, aircraft, or ships is preferred.
• Basic understanding of work order labor time standards.
• Certifications:
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications (T1-T8) are a plus but not required.
• A Commercial Driver’s License is a plus but not required.
