MACHINE OPERATOR

We are looking for an entry-level machine operator with at least a year of verifiable work history to join our early shift. Be a part of our team in a relaxed but dedicated work environment. This is a long-term evaluation for permanent hire.

Permanent hire includes:

• Potential monthly bonus based on production.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up, load and operate machines to grind steel chain.
• Monitor and adjust machines and chain to meet quality requirements.
• Prepare materials for changeover and upcoming orders.
• Change grinding wheels and add coolant as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of machines and area.
• Communicate with team members to coordinate production.
• Cross-train in other shop areas to assist when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Good eyesight.
• Able to run multiple machines at one time.
• Able to speak and read English.
• Able to do basic math.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods of shift.
• Able to bend, push, pull, reach, grab, turn, twist, and/or stoop.
