A local trucking company is looking for a collections specialist to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Contacting customers to collect outstanding payments for freight services rendered.
• Resolving billing discrepancies and disputes promptly.
• Negotiating payment plans with delinquent customers.
• Updating and maintaining accurate records of collections activities.
• Working closely with sales and operations teams to ensure effective credit management.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in collections or accounts receivable role, preferably within the transportation or logistics industry.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of transportation billing processes is a plus.
