Machine Operator Trainee

 

Express Employment Professionals of Niagara is currently looking for a Machine Operator Trainee with forklift experience for a small company located in Niagara Falls, NY. Training will start in the shipping/receiving department and then move to machine operator training. 

 

This is a full time, temporary to permanent hire position, with an excellent benefits package when hired on with the company.

 

Schedule:

• Mon - Thurs  7:00am - 3:30pm
• Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm
• Occasional overtime as needed

Compensation:

$18-19/hr. based on experience.

 

 

Responsibilities:

• Prepare finished product for shipping to client
• Wrapping bare stranded copper wire with crepe paper, using a computerized machine
• Move product with forklift and overhead crane
• Measure product using a micrometer

 

Requirements:

• Steel toe boots
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
• Responsible for washing your provided uniforms
• Adhere to the strict non-smoking policy
